Didn't really convey much emotion

The fight sequences were good, but stylistically it was more humorous than anything else. The guy seemed just casually happy when killing the robbers, and frustrated when trying to resussitate his wife and fighting the other guy. The labelling of everything in his house, as well as the appearance of the decapitated baby (it wasn't a very upsetting or realistic image, and the crossed eyes made it seem somewhat comedic) took away from it a little, unless of course you were going for a parody of the revenge plot format. In that case it was very good- exagguratedly simplistic emotions and rediculous graphics add to that. But it still wasn't absolutely clear whether you were trying to be serious or not. Voices or some sort of dialoge would have helped.

Good, but...

In the fight... They were all total noobs. The guy with the pseudo-rocket launcher shot directly at his target- stupid. Shoot at the surrounding environment, dumbass. That's the most noobish thing anyone can do in any fictional setting with explosive projectiles, with the exception of non-ground battles. The shadow guy did two stupid things- didn't pay attention to his surroundings (since he obviously didn't even see that punch coming) and gave away the advantage of surprise when they didn't know he wasn't dead by roaring. Which brings me to the final stupid thing, which was how the guy with the gun for an arm didn't fire into the hole in the wall to finish off the shadow guy. You have to take advantage of it when your opponent is vulnerable, otherwise you can't win except by attrition.

Basically, I think the decision to stylize the fight in a way that makes the combatants look awesome and powerful could have worked well, if they were actually cool and competent. As it is, it doesn't fit- they all (except perhaps for the puncher) seem to be weak, based on their decisions. But it was still done very well, I'll give you that.

Yeah, it is unfortunate how many things with subtlety get lost. I liked the part where his hands got destroyed- nice metaphor, if slightly out of place in the context of what was happening.

Good, but

The richest people in the world didn't get that way by helping people. Money isn't the resource, it's the distribution system, and unless it can be arranged so that everyone can get some without wrecking the economy, the only thing that can be done is to convert to communism or socialism. And that conflicts with the system. Which you might say is broken. But still- it allows for class advancement. At least where there's education. Poverty is the price we pay for the chance at wealth. Which is stupid, but there's equally big problems with giving everyone everything they need and keeping them at that point. Lack of motivation comes to mind.

This stuff is amazing. It's the style that counts, and you have one of those down really really well. Incredible scenery, animations, camera pans, pacing, everything.
